Gigadroid Technologies ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use PhoneCurfew, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using PhoneCurfew, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
Screen Time Data (Family Controls API)
PhoneCurfew uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time APIs to help you manage your phone usage and bedtime routines. All data accessed through these APIs is processed entirely on your device. This data:
- Is never transmitted to our servers
- Is never stored outside your device
- Is not accessible to us in any form
- Remains under Apple's privacy protections at all times
This is enforced technically by Apple's iOS and is a requirement of the Family Controls entitlement.
Subscription Information
When you subscribe to PhoneCurfew, your purchase is processed through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription state, validate purchases, restore previous purchases, and detect changes such as trial expiry or cancellation.
The information processed includes:
- An anonymous user identifier (randomly generated, not tied to your Apple ID)
- Subscription status (active, in trial, expired, refunded)
- Product identifiers (which subscription tier you are on)
- Purchase and renewal timestamps
Payment details (credit card numbers, billing addresses) are handled exclusively by Apple. We do not receive, see, or store any payment information.
PhoneCurfew offers a free trial. Free trial details, conversion to paid subscription, and cancellation are managed entirely by Apple's App Store; you can manage and cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID Account Settings.
Analytics Data (Firebase Analytics)
We use Firebase Analytics (a service provided by Google) to understand how PhoneCurfew is used and to improve the app. This collects:
- Anonymous app usage events (approximately 15 custom events such as feature use and screen views)
- Approximate country-level location, derived from your IP address
- Device type (model, iOS version)
- App version and language
- A randomly generated installation identifier
This data does not include your name, email, contacts, precise location, or any content you enter into the app.
Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When PhoneCurfew crashes or encounters errors, we use Firebase Crashlytics (a service provided by Google) to collect diagnostics so we can fix bugs. This includes:
- Device type and iOS version
- App version
- Stack trace and error context at the moment of the crash
- Anonymous installation identifier
This data is used only to diagnose and fix bugs.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain PhoneCurfew's core features
- Manage your subscription and entitlements
- Diagnose and fix bugs through crash reports
- Understand which features are used and how, in order to improve the app
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running the app.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share limited data only with the service providers necessary to operate the app:

Each provider operates under its own privacy policy:

Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Data transferred outside the EEA is protected by the legal mechanisms the providers have in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing for specific purposes
- Opt out of analytics collection
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/).
Opting Out of Analytics
You can disable analytics collection at any time in PhoneCurfew's Settings under Privacy.
Deleting Your Data
PhoneCurfew stores most data locally on your device, so uninstalling the app removes that data. To request deletion of data held by our service providers (subscription history, anonymous analytics records), contact us at igorstevanovic99@gmail.com.
Data Retention
- Subscription data (RevenueCat): retained for the duration of your subscription and for legally required periods afterward.
- Analytics data (Firebase Analytics): retained per Google's default retention of 14 months from the last user activity.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): retained for 90 days, after which Google deletes them automatically.
Data Security
We rely on Apple's iOS platform protections, HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and the security practices of our service providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat). No system is completely secure, but we use industry-standard measures appropriate for the data PhoneCurfew handles.
Children's Privacy
PhoneCurfew is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has used PhoneCurfew, please contact us at igorstevanovic99@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
